Chairman Donald Lamay gave an update on the proposal that was sent to the Town Board for Alt. Planning Board Members, He spoke with John Belson and the proposal will be part of next Mondays workshop.
Next – There was a brief review on the inspection process of Special Use Permits. Businesses have to be inspected once every 3 years. Fisk Dist. and the Golf Course were in business long before Special Use Permits were started.
Chairman Donald Lamay mentioned that there was another complaint regarding Kevin Brubackers generator/cooling unit. It’s still too loud. Dan Wolfe has been down there when it was running. It really is not that loud.
Also mentioned was Amon Zimmerman had asked if we have any rules/regulations when it comes to doing a produce auction. (Meaning: to auction off fresh produce). He has been looking at a few pieces of property to buy for something like that. Amon needs to gather all of his information together and then submit it to the Planning Board. He will need a good site plan and let us know what hours and dates of operation. When Amon brings what he needs to the Planning Board, the Planning Board will help walk through it with him
Round Table
Gary Daum mentioned there was no County Planning Board meeting last month due to the lack of agenda.
Steve Freeman handed in his letter of resignation; he is leaving the Planning Board to go to the Town Board. Chairman Donald Lamay thanked Steve for being on the Planning Board.
