Susan Dudley- comment on
Workshop Meeting
Councilman Bradley: re-read
the information he had at workshop meeting
Susan: questioned code of
ethics for the Town
Supervisor Belson: said that
it was the same as the Counties
Attorney Meier: will look
into that.
Taylor Quarles: working on
wildlife study , working with Yates Committee, Office
in Barker open 4 days per week.
Jim Simons-Does Board read
the PSE comments?
Supervisor Belson does,
Jim: comments show 87%
against project
Tanis Bolick-
Mr. Belson and Mr. Bradley are you going to state what you are going to do.
Councilman Bradley- the Board
has remained neutral .
Supervisor Belson- cannot
comment at this time.
Mary Hayes: If survey comes
back against will the Board vote no?
Supervisor Belson: Will do what constituents want.
Donna Bane: read a letter
that she composed about the survey she had receive with no identification by an
unknown individual and she felt it was very negative. . And asked it the Town was sending a
survey.
Councilman Bradley stated
that the Town is going to send a survey. A committee was formed of Richard
Pucher from SOS, Taylor Quarles from Apex, and himself from the Town Board to
work on questions for the survey.
Allen Bell: also received a
survey from an unidentified sender.
Harvey Campbell- also
received a survey though it strange it was not identified who it was from.
Councilman Bradley stated it
was not from the Town, that the return post office box is the same as for SOS.
Mr. Esposito- When will the
Town’s survey be sent?
Councilman Bradley stated
that he cannot give a specific date. The
committee wants everything to be correct.
Paul Lauricella;
A woman asked me about foundations at the cemetery she said hers was placed in
the wrong spot.
This will be checked into and
taken care of

Johnson is on the payroll as bookkeeper why is a Joanna name on reports.
Supervisor Belson, Joanna

John Riggi presented a paper entitled We
are at a Crossroads. Which will be placed in the original
minutes.Talking about the STAMP site.
Supervisor Belson stated that
Shelby, Yates and Ridgeway are looking into get involved with this.
Carla Woodworth- stated she
would like to thank the Town Board for all the time they have spent on the wind
project feels this Town Board is working for the community.
Roger Barth-quoted law on
conflict of interest. Feels Councilman
Whipple should resign because he works for the IDA.
Councilman Whipple stated
that he has checked into the law and was told there was not a conflict of
interest.
Roger Barth-Have you filed a
formal discloser?
Councilman Whipple- No
Roger Barth- I feel the Town
should seek a legal opinion on this matter.
Anne Smith- We heard you
received a check from Apex, How much was it for and what will
it be used for.
Supervisor Belson- we have
not received a check,
If we do it will be for legal cost incurred when SOS sued the
Town.

RESOLVED , to approve the minutes of the September 9,2015 regular meeting as presented to each Board member.

RESOLUTION

RESOLUTION TO APPROVE FIRE
CONTRACT WITH THE VILLAGE OF LYNDONVILLE
WHEREAS, the Village of
Lyndonville has presented the Town of Yates with a five year contract for fire
as per attached.
BE IT RESOLVED, that the
Supervisor is authorized to sign such contract.

RESOLUTION TO ADOPT TENTATIVE
BUDGET AS PRELIMINARY BUDGET FOR THE YEAR 2016
WHEREAS,
the Town Board was presented the Tentative Budget and reviewed such budget. Be it

that the Tentative Budget for 2016 be adopted as the Preliminary Budget for the
year 2016.

Supervisor Belson-met with USDA in September for
their regular check on the Town. Was told there are grants out there that are
being given
The Town had a manure
incident last year and might be able to apply for a grant from USDA for the
problem I will contact USDA
